Showjumping

For riders looking to continue their competitive journey while studying at St Andrews, the Showjumping Team offers the opportunity to combine academic success with progression in the sport.

Whether you already own or lease a horse, are looking to compete regularly, or simply want to be part of a community that shares your passion for showjumping, the team provides a supportive and flexible environment in which to develop. Based at Drumcarrow Equestrian, the programme is designed to accommodate a wide range of goals, from riders targeting elite youth and young rider competitions to those who simply enjoy competing and training on a regular basis.

Members have access to:

  • Weekly coaching sessions
  • Arena hire opportunities
  • Regular competitions throughout the year
  • A supportive network of like-minded student riders
  • International competition opportunities each semester through Lohoar Sport Horses

The team is committed to helping riders balance their sporting ambitions with the demands of university life, ensuring that students do not have to choose between their education and their equestrian goals.
